Tanzania Renewable Energy Association (TAREA) is a member-based non-profit non-state business society. It was officially registered on 7th May 2001 by the Tanzania Ministry of Home Affairs with the number SA10900 under the Societies Act, CAP.337 [R.E. 2002],. The objective of TAREA is to promote the sustainable development of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technologies in mainland Tanzania. TAREA cooperates with all important enterprises in Tanzania, as well as (inter-) national organizations.
